Metro Bank brings back relationship banking for SMEs with cash-on-demand service
The closure of high-street branches has left many small firms unable to bank cash takings or obtain notes.
Metro Bank has built its service based on relationship banking with 72 branches opened since it launched in 2010, and has this month launched a cash-on-demand service that will see staff offer a doorstep service for business customers.
This service will see staff drive to the customer’s premises to drop-off or pick-up cash within a 30-mile radius of a Metro Bank branch. Metro Bank are launching the service in London this month and are intending to roll this out nationwide during 2020.
