Savings accounts directly held in your name
We have built the service to be Secure by Design. What we mean by this is that the Cascade service accesses each institution directly and clients only ever hold accounts in their own name. This is deliberately designed to give the utmost confidence that cash is held exclusively with each counterparty, rather than through any third party arrangement.
As well as providing direct reporting from each institution this way, this approach also has the ancillary benefits of maximising the protection each client receives where applicable whilst ensuring total visibility, speedy reconciliation and easy verification of all holdings.
Clients can utilise the full cash dataset to spread their savings across separate banking licences to either enhance or obtain full depositor protection under the European Deposit Guarantee Schemes directive. This has grown particularly important as our clients have become more aware of the systemic risk in the global economy.
